Interesting Places

Frampton has many places of interest around the village.

The main one is the Frampton Court Estate.

They are by far the largest land owner in the village and have for many years farmed and maintained the land and the properties in a manner sympathetic to the wildlife and the environment. This has manifested itself in a large acreage being declared a “ Site of Scientific Interest”. Several of the buildings on the estate are also of historical interest.

Another farmer has turned his farm into woodland and has planted many thousands of trees on his land making pleasant walks and a haven for wild life.

Old Barns that are several hundred years old have been sympathetically renovated to their original splendour

One is The Wool Barn at Manor Farm

The other is The Tithe Barn at Churchend
